So, I've watched the Rodman Show for the last couple of weeks, laughing my head off.  Having lived in Chicago most of my adult life, this is just Illinois politics at its best.  The piece of the puzzle that puzzles me -- why did Fitzgerald show his hand so soon?  He's generally considered to be straight as an arrow, unconnected, untouchable and anal -- remember he just put the former governor in jail.  He had to stop the pay to play before it happened?Wouldn't his case have been stronger if money had actually changed hands (and, yes, reliable sources tell me Candidate No. 5 a/k/a Jesse Jr. would have had no problem coming up with the $1.5 mill)?  So far, all they've got is a bunch of "he said she said" tapes, Blago's lawyered up with the single best criminal attorney in Chicago (think R. Kelly's liberator) and Fitzgerald is in court asking for another 90 days to "make his case."  Something's not right.
